3v3 hockey has been proven to offer many benefits. Players learn to use tighter moves on their skates and with their puck handling due to the smaller ice area. With only 3 players on the ice, the distinction between offensive and defensive players becomes blurred, creating a need for all players to have an offensive and a defensive presence. And shorter games and faster pace on the ice greatly increases the fun factor!

FIND A TEAM

Format & Rules
- 20-minute run time for each game.
- Win = 2 pts / Loss = 0 pts / Tie = 1 pt
- Total points will determine division winners
- The top 1 or 2 teams in each division will advance to a single-elimination playoff round
- Tiebreakers
- Head-to-head
- G/F and G/A differential (6 max)
- Goals Against
- No checking or slapshots
- Minor penalties result in a penalty shot
- Major penalties, including fighting, will result in tournament ejection
- Divisions may be combined to accommodate teams
- Teams are responsible for their own matching jerseys
- All players must be registered with USA Hockey
- Teams will be placed in the division of the highest level player. AAA Players will play up a year from their age division. NO EXCEPTIONS
- Supervisors may be on the bench but no coaching
